Use this form to register a qualified Miniature Pinscher to be used in a Harlie breeding program.
Required Genetic Clearances of 'clear' status for MPS VI, PLL and Cystinuria are required to be submitted with Dual Registration Application to be eligible for HPA registration. (*those not submitting the required Genetic Clearances will be placed in the ACR database).
All Males are required to have DNA profile submitted and females upon 3rd litter.
HPA does not accept for dual registration any Harlie registered with any other registry other than ACR nor does HPA accept ANY dual registration from Continental Kennel Club (*CKC) or Certified Pedigree Registry (*CPR).
Others are accepted on a case-by-case basis based on information submitted.
HPA reserves the right to refuse any submission which violates our policies, standards or is not in the best interest of the Association and/or it's database.
There is an annual Dues fee for breeders registering litters with HPA. These Dues offset the everyday cost of doing business.
Annual Dues Cost
The Annual Dues are $25.00 per Individual per year starting from January 1 and ending December 31(*For families who have more than 1 in a household registering the cost is $10.00 per additional name and must be submitted on the initial Dues form.)
Who must have current Dues Paid
Any breeder registering a litter for a Given year must have current Dues paid for the year the Litter was born and for the year of the Registration Request.
___ Any individual wishing to access the Harlequin Pinscher Chat Board must have current Dues paid.
*HPA reserves the right to refuse any request ___
It is the responsibility of the individual to keep their dues current.Notices will not be sent for delinquent dues.
Morals & Disclosure Statement
In addition to dues is a requirement for all breeders to submit a fully filled out accurate and signed Morals and Disclosure Statement.
Failure to accurately disclose information may result in Suspension and/or Ban from HPA.
The HPA is the only approved Registry for the Harlequin Pinscher breed.
It was established by Nancy Anderson - the breeder who redeveloped the Harlequin Pinscher bringing it out of extinction.

Required DNA Testing for Breeding
The HPA believes in responsible breeding and responsible dog ownership therefore HPA requires ALL dogs being used for breeding to be tested Clear or Clear by Parentage/Lineage for MPS VI, PLL and Cystinuria.
All Males must be DNA profiled for parent verification and All Females with 3 litters or more.
